Italian luxury car brand Maserati is establishing a Korean subsidiary to operate its business directly from the headquarters. Forza Motors Korea (FMK), which has been the official importer of Maserati, will transfer domestic business operations and convert into a dealer.
On the 27th, Maserati announced that it will establish the Korean subsidiary "Maserati Korea" as of July 1. FMK, which has been the official importer of Maserati since 2007, will hand over the business in the second half of this year. An FMK official explained, "This is part of a strategy to strengthen the Maserati brand's position in Korea."
The establishment of Maserati Korea aims to increase brand awareness and strengthen market presence in the Korean market. The headquarters will focus directly on strengthening the network and plans to attempt bold changes to provide enhanced brand experiences. They also announced plans to strive to offer after-sales service and customized customer experiences that meet global standards.
Additionally, Maserati Korea will continue to collaborate with FMK to ensure a smooth business transition. FMK will continue to operate the network, including Maserati Seoul and Bundang.
