Tecog Group affiliate Tisis announced on the 26th that it has opened an in-house cafe, 'Cafe Cube Yeongdeungpo Branch,' where employees of its subsidiary-type standard workplace for the disabled, 'Keun Heemang,' work as baristas.

Among the five baristas at Cafe Cube Yeongdeungpo Branch, four, excluding one manager, are 'Keun Heemang' employees with severe disabilities such as developmental disabilities. They have been recognized for their work abilities after working for more than five years in various roles such as delivery and convenience stores, and became baristas at 'Cafe Cube Yeongdeungpo Branch.'

Cafe Cube Yeongdeungpo Branch is an in-house cafe opened to support the convenience and welfare of Tisis CS Business Division employees. Although the cafe was opened in response to increasing demands from employees for an in-house cafe, it is also open to external customers. Recently, word of mouth has spread, and the area in front of the cafe is crowded with nearby office workers buying coffee every lunch hour. Cafe Cube Yeongdeungpo Branch focuses on the quality of coffee. To make delicious coffee, only carefully inspected high-quality beans are used, with meticulous adjustment and thorough inspection of the coffee taste. In addition, all baristas working there have obtained the Level 2 Barista Certificate certified by the Korea Coffee Association.

Yoo Tae-ho, CEO of Tisis, said, "The opening of Cafe Cube Yeongdeungpo Branch is significant in that it enhances the convenience of Tisis employees while promoting the expansion of jobs for the disabled," adding, "Tisis will continue to take the lead in realizing public value both inside and outside the company."

Meanwhile, 'Keun Heemang' is an excellent workplace among standard workplaces for the disabled, achieving a 97% five-year employee retention rate. In December last year, it was selected as an 'Excellent Company for Disabled Employment Environment' and received a commendation from the Mayor of Seoul.
