KB Kookmin, Exchange Rate Discount Event 'Waiver of Currency Exchange Fees'

KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 19th that it will hold the ‘Daily 100% Exchange Rate Discount Coupon Giveaway Event,’ offering exchange fee waivers to customers exchanging currency.

The event is open to individual residents aged 14 and older who are Korean nationals. Until March 18, all customers who complete KB Kookmin Bank’s ‘Three Marketing Consents (▲Consent to SMS Marketing ▲Consent to KB Star Banking Benefit Notifications ▲Consent to Affiliate Information Marketing)’ and click the ‘Get 100% Exchange Rate Discount Coupon’ button on the event page within KB Star Banking will receive coupons in real time.

Customers who have already completed the ‘Three Marketing Consents’ can participate in the event simply by clicking ‘Get Coupon.’ Participation is allowed once per day, enabling up to 29 exchange fee waivers during the event period. The exchange rate discount coupons can be used when exchanging USD, JPY, or EUR through KB Star Banking or internet banking.

Meanwhile, KB Kookmin Bank is collaborating with KB Kookmin Card to launch the ‘KB Kookmin Travelers Check Card,’ a card specialized for overseas use, in April. This card includes various benefits for customers interested in travel, such as exchange fee waivers and additional discounts when using KB Pay.

A KB Kookmin Bank official said, “We hope many people will embark on their travels with a happier heart without exchange fees through this event,” and added, “We will continue to provide customer-tailored services such as exchange fee waivers through the ‘KB Kookmin Travelers Check Card’ scheduled for release in April.”
