"No Need to Move Wet Laundry"... Samsung All-in-One Washer-Dryer Finally Released

Samsung Electronics' AI-based all-in-one washer-dryer, the 'Bespoke AI Combo,' is expected to be released domestically as early as the end of this month.

According to industry sources on the 19th, Samsung.com is holding a pre-purchase notification event for the Bespoke AI Combo from today until the 22nd.

Earlier, Samsung Electronics showcased a concept model of the all-in-one washer-dryer at IFA 2023, Europe's largest home appliance exhibition held in Berlin last September, and then unveiled the finished product, the Bespoke AI Combo, at CES 2024, the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition held earlier this year.

The Bespoke AI Combo, which combines a washer and dryer, allows users to wash and dry clothes in one unit without needing to transfer laundry from the washer to the dryer. Compared to the traditional vertically stacked washer-dryer, it offers over 40% better space utilization. It also features an 'AI Custom' course that provides tailored washing and drying based on the weight, fabric type, and level of dirt on the laundry.

Samsung explained that the Bespoke AI Combo is equipped with the digital inverter heat pump from the existing 'Bespoke AI Dryer,' delivering drying performance comparable to standalone dryers. The digital inverter heat pump circulates refrigerant to generate heat for drying, keeping the drum's maximum internal temperature below 60 degrees Celsius, which reduces fabric damage and offers higher energy efficiency compared to condenser dryers that use heaters.

The Bespoke AI Combo is expected to make its domestic debut as early as the end of this month, followed by a sequential release in global markets.
