On the 19th, Hyundai Engineering & Construction announced that on the 16th, it held the 'H-Leaders Regular General Meeting and Executive Seminar' at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, attended by President Yoon Young-jun, key executives, and representatives from 242 partner companies.


In his greeting, President Yoon Young-jun stated, "Hyundai Engineering & Construction plans to solidify its position as a global leader by targeting overseas markets with core businesses based on ultra-differentiated technologies such as nuclear power and high value-added projects, actively expanding the energy value chain and securing future growth engines. Let us work closely with our partner companies to enhance each other's expertise and realize the dream of becoming a top-tier company together through pioneering new markets and discovering new businesses."


H-Leaders are outstanding partner companies selected by sector?such as safety, quality, process, and technology?from among approximately 2,000 subcontractors and suppliers registered with Hyundai Engineering & Construction. This year, 242 companies were selected. Among them, 44 companies that received the highest evaluations in their respective sectors were appointed as 'H-Prime Leaders,' receiving certificates and commemorative plaques. Companies selected as excellent partners are provided with various incentives, including expanded bidding opportunities and strategic purchasing.


This year, Hyundai Engineering & Construction shared its management policies and support measures related to safety, health, and procurement for partner companies, and discussed ways to promote mutual growth and win-win cooperation. The company plans to continuously discover excellent partner companies more fairly and transparently to expand collaboration and strengthen technological cooperation to improve safety and quality, so that a virtuous cycle structure on-site can spread.


In particular, this year, to foster an autonomous safety culture centered on partner companies, Hyundai Engineering & Construction will expand support and application of smart safety technologies. It will establish a self-discipline prevention system by implementing the first-ever pre-approval system for risk assessments by partner companies, strengthening daily safety inspections and TBM (Toolbox Meeting) compliance. The company is determined to achieve quality innovation from the customer's perspective through objective and quantitative evaluations.


Additionally, Hyundai Engineering & Construction will provide consulting to enhance partner companies' competitiveness and increase the number of companies participating in the technology expo that supports technology exchange and mutual cooperation in the construction industry compared to the previous year. It will also make every effort to secure partner companies' research and development (R&D) capabilities by holding regular meetings throughout the year.
