Action Square's Dungeon Stalkers Selected as One of the Most Played Demo Games

Action Square announced on the 15th that their new dungeon crawler, Dungeon Stockers, has been selected as one of the most played demo games (Top Demos of the week) during the past week.

This period was part of an event on Steam where upcoming releases could be played in advance over the course of a week, and the company explained that Dungeon Stockers achieved high performance among competing titles.

The game distribution platform (ESD) Steam held the 'Steam Next Fest' event for a week starting from the 5th (local time). Steam Next Fest is a demo showcase festival attracting developers and users worldwide, where game companies communicate with users through live streaming and provide gameplay videos. Approximately 1,300 new titles participated in this Steam event.

Han Daehoon, General PD (Producer) of Action Square Studio HG, said, “We are honored that Dungeon Stockers was selected as one of the most played demo games. We hope players continue to enjoy the remaining test period, and we will reflect the diverse feedback from users during the test to deliver a highly polished official version.”

Dungeon Stockers, revealed at last week’s Steam Next Fest, attracted over 100,000 users. Their average playtime recorded 95 minutes, and more than 90% of the global users were from the United States, Japan, China, and other countries. The live streaming conducted by the game company was watched by over 1,000 viewers and ranked within the top 5 overall broadcasts.

Thanks to the enthusiastic support and requests from users, the play period for Dungeon Stockers has been extended until the 19th.

Meanwhile, Dungeon Stockers, selected as one of the most played demo games alongside new titles from prominent developers such as the sci-fi RTS (real-time strategy) Homeworld 3, plans to enhance the game’s completeness by incorporating global user feedback during the test period.
