HanmiGlobal announced on the 15th that it has completed the 'Vietnam Spatial Welfare Support Project' to improve the living environment of families with disabilities living in Hai Duong Province, Vietnam, in collaboration with the social welfare corporation Warm Companion.

원본보기 아이콘HanmiGlobal and Warm Companion have been conducting spatial welfare support projects to improve housing and living environments since 2010. Starting with domestic facilities for people with disabilities, since 2017, the project has expanded to families of people with disabilities in Vietnam and families of veterans from Ethiopia and T?rkiye who participated in the Korean War. To date, they have carried out 1,172 projects domestically and 82 projects overseas.
This year, through HanmiGlobal's Vietnam branch, they carried out roof replacement, finishing work, and installation of kitchens and bathrooms for four families with disabilities residing in Hai Duong Province. Among the supported families, Nguyen Thi Khan (72), who has a physical disability, said, "I used to live in a dilapidated house that was hard to endure in harsh weather, but now I am happy to be able to spend time warmly regardless of the season in a cleanly renovated house."
The completion ceremony for the spatial welfare support project held in Gia Loc District, Hai Duong Province, was attended by the supported families with disabilities, Lee Min-woo, head of HanmiGlobal's Vietnam branch, Nguyen Phuc, representative of the local People's Committee, and executives and staff of the March8 Center under the Women's Union.
