Fashion Group Hyungji Appoints Vice Chairman Lee Jong-beom... "Expecting Contribution to Financial Improvement"

Fashion Group Hyungji announced on the 13th that it has recruited Vice Chairman Lee Jong-beom.

Vice Chairman Lee was born in 1956 and graduated from Seoul National University Law School. He is a financial expert who worked in banking for 34 years, starting with Cheil Bank in 1980, serving as the head of Hanmi Bank's London branch, and as vice president in charge of corporate finance at Korea Citibank.

Hyungji explained that Vice Chairman Lee has a deep understanding of the fashion industry and Hyungji Group. He established a connection with Chairman Choi Byung-oh of Fashion Group Hyungji when Hyungji Group acquired Esquire in 2015, and it is expected that his high level of understanding of Hyungji Group will contribute to financial improvement across all affiliates.

Meanwhile, Hyungji Group includes Fashion Group Hyungji, Hyungji I&C, Hyungji Elite, Hyungji Esquire, Castelbajac, and Art Malling as its affiliates. It is a native fashion company operating over 2,000 stores nationwide across 17 brands, including women's wear, men's wear, golf wear, sportswear, footwear and accessories, and shopping malls.
