원본보기 아이콘On the 10th (local time), at the Las Vegas Country Club (par 70) in Nevada, USA, Dustin Johnson shot 1-under 69 in the final 3rd round of the LIV Golf Las Vegas (total prize money $20 million) to secure a 1-stroke victory (12-under 198). He tasted the joy of victory for the first time in 9 months since Boston in 2022 and Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA last May. The winner's prize money is $4 million (approximately 5.3 billion KRW).
Taylor Gooch and Peter Uihlein (both USA) tied for 2nd place (11-under 199). Matthew Wolff (USA) finished 4th (10-under 200), while Graeme McDowell (Northern Ireland), Paul Casey (England), and Jason Kokrak (USA) tied for 5th place (9-under 201). World No. 3 Jon Rahm (Spain) finished 8th (8-under 202) in his second tournament. Joaquin Niemann (Chile), who won the opening event last week, finished tied for 30th (2-under 208).
The team event victory went to Smash GC, led by Brooks Koepka (USA). Smash GC, consisting of Gooch, Kokrak, McDowell, and others, achieved a 4-stroke victory (33-under). The PoaSIS GC team, composed of Johnson, Pat Perez, Harold Varner III, and Patrick Reed (all USA), finished as runners-up (26-under). To avoid clashing with the Super Bowl, the NFL final held on Sunday local time, the final round was held on Saturday.
