Hansome, Operating Profit Drops 40% Last Year Due to Clothing Consumption Slump

Hansome's operating profit decreased by about 40% last year due to the impact of sluggish clothing consumption caused by high inflation and high exchange rates.

Hansome announced on the 6th that its consolidated operating profit last year was 100.5 billion KRW, down 40.3% compared to the same period of the previous year. Last year's sales decreased by 0.9% to 1.5289 trillion KRW.

Operating profit in the fourth quarter was 31.6 billion KRW, down 35.7% year-on-year, while sales increased by 0.3% to 453.2 billion KRW.
