This project involves workers visiting the homes of single elderly individuals to replace or repair consumable household items such as fluorescent lights, faucets, window screens, and door handles. Self-support enterprises employing vulnerable groups and welfare organizations participate in the project.

The support targets are single-person households aged 70 or older who reside in Yongin City and are recipients of basic livelihood security, lower-income brackets, or basic pensions. However, facilities other than residential houses, such as goshiwons and vinyl greenhouses, are excluded from support. Rental housing owned by Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) requires prior consultation.

Applications for support can be made by visiting or calling each senior welfare center in Cheoin, Giheung, and Suji districts. To enhance the effectiveness of the project, not only the elderly themselves but also 'Senior Customized Care Service Life Support Workers' and general citizens are allowed to apply.

Upon receiving an application or report, the senior welfare center visits the home to check for malfunctions in consumable items and then requests a dispatch to the self-support enterprise responsible for repairs and replacements. To this end, the city has signed agreements with the senior welfare centers of the three districts and the self-support enterprise 'Hanuri Construction.'

The support amount per service is up to 100,000 KRW, and the city plans to support about 200 households this year, while also considering securing additional budgets depending on demand. A city official stated, "This project is small but is characterized as a life-centered support policy that can directly help the daily lives of the elderly," adding, "We plan to expand projects that assist elderly people facing difficulties and support the economic independence of workers in self-support enterprises."
