Taejin A, Caregiver for Wife with Dementia, "I Wish She Would Slowly Forget Me"

Singer Tae Jin-ah's wife is reported to be battling Alzheimer's disease (dementia).

On the 5th, the preview of TV Chosun's program 'Joseon's Lover' revealed the story of Tae Jin-ah caring for his wife who suffers from dementia. Tae Jin-ah's wife was diagnosed with early-stage dementia five years ago, and since then, Tae Jin-ah has been nursing her.

In the broadcast, Tae Jin-ah said, "Ok-kyung is 99% of my life," and with teary eyes added, "Tae Jin-ah is only the remaining 1%. I hope she forgets me more slowly."

The program also showed Tae Jin-ah trying to revive his wife's memory. When Tae Jin-ah asked, "You and I got married. Who am I?" his wife replied, "I don't know," evoking sympathy from those around them.

Meanwhile, Tae Jin-ah suggested to his wife, "When I do a dinner show, let's go on stage together and sing 'Ok-kyung'." He continuously expressed his love, saying, "I wanted to do it with my wife."
