Im Jong-heon, the former deputy chief of the Judicial Administration Office, who was identified as a key figure in the so-called 'judicial farmhand' allegations, was sentenced to 2 years in prison with a 3-year probation on the 5th in the first trial.
The Seoul Central District Court Criminal Division 36-1 (Presiding Judges Kim Hyun-soon, Jo Seung-woo, and Bang Yoon-seop) delivered this verdict at the first trial sentencing hearing for Im's case involving charges such as abuse of authority and obstruction of the exercise of rights.
