On the 3rd (local time), local media reported that a preliminary audition to find new members for the girl group Fifty Fifty was held at the Kallang Place event hall in Singapore. The audition attendees were Southeast Asian residents aged 14 and above, and those who pass this audition will advance to the final audition round held in Thailand on March 2. Audition applicants were given about one minute to showcase their singing, rapping, and dancing skills.

Kasha, who attended the audition that day, said, "Even if I fail the audition, I will continue to challenge myself. I hope people recognize my talent. My dream is to perform on the international stage."

Fifty Fifty's agency, ATTRAKT, is holding auditions in several countries including Japan, Korea, and Singapore to select new members. Among the audition judges is David Yong from Evergreen Group Holdings, who announced in August 2023 that he would invest 10 billion KRW in ATTRAKT. He stated, "The talents of the participants exceeded our expectations," and added, "The final lineup of Fifty Fifty is not yet confirmed." ATTRAKT said, "We plan to finalize the group lineup around April and release new songs by June." It is expected that those selected as final members through the audition will move to Korea to live and train.

Previously, the four members of the girl group Fifty Fifty, who gained sensational popularity last year with the global hit "Cupid," filed for a provisional injunction to suspend the validity of their exclusive contracts against their agency ATTRAKT. However, the court repeatedly ruled in favor of ATTRAKT, and among the four members, only Kina returned to the agency, participating in various events such as Billboard to elevate the group's status. Consequently, ATTRAKT terminated exclusive contracts with the three members Saena, Shio, and Aran in October last year and is currently pursuing a damages lawsuit amounting to 13 billion KRW against them and those involved in the contract termination. ATTRAKT announced plans to reorganize Fifty Fifty into a five-member group including Kina.
