Samsung Electronics held the 'Galaxy Unpacked 2024' event on the 17th of last month (local time) at the SAP Center in San Jose, California, unveiling new Galaxy products. Among the attendees was the famous Twitch gaming influencer 'Pokimane.' Pokimane is a Moroccan-Canadian currently residing in the United States and is a popular game streamer in North America. She began streaming in 2016 and currently has 9.34 million followers on Twitch and 6.6 million subscribers on YouTube.

During the Unpacked event, Pokimane highlighted 'Ray Tracing' as one of the advantages of the Galaxy S24. Ray tracing is a feature that tracks light to render objects realistically. Pokimane said, "I've played games for years, but this is the first time I've experienced such immersive gameplay," adding, "I've used every device available, but the Galaxy S24's ray tracing is truly amazing."

However, after the Galaxy Unpacked event, images surfaced on X (formerly Twitter) showing Pokimane using an iPhone during her game streams. One X user posted photos side by side: Pokimane promoting the Galaxy S24 at the Unpacked event and her using an iPhone during her streams.

The X user commented, "How great would it be if Samsung invested money not in some influencers but in improving moving subject photography or natural color modes," emphasizing, "This is not a post about Pokimane but about Samsung and their marketing." Another X user added, "It's important that despite Samsung paying the creator (Pokimane), she still prefers to use something else (iPhone)," and remarked, "This speaks volumes."

However, some have testified that Pokimane, as a game streamer, regularly plays games on various phone models to compare performance and other features.
