[Photo] Newly Renovated Seoul City Character 'Haechi' Revealed to Citizens

On the 1st, the character 'Haechi,' symbolizing Seoul, was unveiled to the public at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Jung-gu, Seoul. Haechi was designated as a city symbol by Mayor Oh Se-hoon in 2008, and the character was officially announced in 2009. The Seoul Metropolitan Government stated that Haechi has been completely revamped for the first time in 15 years to reintroduce it and enhance its competitiveness.
