Hoban Construction Receives Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Award for Construction Site Safety Capability Evaluation

Hoban Construction announced on the 30th that its Hwaseong Bibong B-2 Block project in Gyeonggi Province received the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Award in the '2023 Construction Site Autonomous Responsibility Inspection Safety Competency Evaluation.'

This safety competency evaluation was conducted on construction sites designated for autonomous responsibility inspections by the Seoul Regional Land Management Office. The purpose is to discover and disseminate best practices and encourage participation in autonomous inspections at construction sites.

Hoban Construction's Hwaseong Bibong B-2 Block apartment construction site received excellent evaluations for worker-centered site management and implementation of autonomous responsibility inspections. Lee Gyu-jae, the site manager, said, "We have consistently received good evaluations for our site autonomous inspection reports and safety management, and we are very pleased to receive the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Award this time. We will continue to work closely with headquarters and partner companies to foster a safety culture at the site."

Meanwhile, Hoban Group’s other construction affiliate, Hoban Industry, was selected as an 'Excellent Apartment Construction Company of 2023' in the apartment quality inspection hosted by Gyeonggi Province at the end of last year. From July 2022 to June 2023, Gyeonggi Province conducted quality inspections before use approval on 150 apartment complexes within the province and selected eight excellent construction companies, including Hoban Industry.
