The JCS stated, "Around 7 a.m. today, we detected several unidentified cruise missiles launched by the North toward the West Sea, and South Korean and U.S. intelligence authorities are conducting a detailed analysis. Our military has strengthened surveillance and vigilance while closely cooperating with the U.S. side and is closely monitoring North Korea's activities."

This marks the second time in two days that North Korea has launched cruise missiles, following the launches on the 28th.
