Kiwoom Securities "Expanding US Stock Options Underlying Assets to 200 Items"

Kiwoom Securities announced that starting from the 29th, the number of available US stock options for trading will be significantly expanded from the existing 49 to 200, and additional trading platforms will be added.

US stock options are rights based on individual US stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that allow the holder to buy (call option) or sell (put option) at a predetermined price at a specific time. They enable leveraged trading with a small amount of capital, allow profit opportunities even when individual stocks decline, and support various investment strategies such as hedging US stocks held in cash.

Kiwoom Securities is expanding the number of tradable US stock options to 200, providing broader investment opportunities, while also extending the trading platforms from YoungwoongmunG (HTS) and YoungwoongmunSG (MTS) to include YoungwoongmunS# (MTS) for service provision.

Additionally, Kiwoom Securities is running an event for new customers where the US stock options commission fee is set at 1 dollar per contract, allowing customers to benefit from reduced fees.
