The incorporated association 'Seoul Real Estate Forum' announced on the 29th that it has appointed Song Jongheon, CEO of GRE Partners Asset Management, as its 8th president.
The Seoul Real Estate Forum started in November 2003 as an industry-academia convergence forum involving key figures from the domestic real estate industry (investment, finance, development, asset management, design, construction, appraisal, etc.) and leading professors from real estate departments of universities nationwide. Currently, about 200 real estate experts participate.
Last November, it successfully held its 20th anniversary seminar under the theme "The Future and Opportunities of the Korean Real Estate Market." The Seoul Real Estate Forum organizes monthly, quarterly regular seminars, and irregular seminars. It also provides scholarships annually to students majoring in real estate at major universities.
President Song began his career at E-Land Group in 1992, and after founding Bright Union in 1998, he has 25 years of experience in retail, logistics, and mixed-use complex development and operation. In 2017, he established Korea's first retail-specialized real estate asset management company.
President Song expressed his inauguration remarks, saying, "In line with the status and dignity of the Seoul Real Estate Forum, which has been established for over 20 years, I will strive to create a forum that not only fosters exchange among members but also exerts a positive influence on society and the real estate industry."
