Kim Dae-sik, a preliminary candidate from Sasang-gu, Busan, visited the fire site in Deokpo-dong on the 26th to console the residents and urged for prompt measures to prevent recurrence and recovery of damages.

Candidate Kim said, "Sincere response to accidents is as important as preventing them," and added, "I hope the fire authorities and administrative agencies will prepare measures to prevent recurrence and do their best to restore the damage with the feelings of the affected residents."

At 2:42 a.m. on the 26th, a fire broke out in a multi-family house in Deokpo-dong, and seven residents were transported to the hospital for treatment.
