The Private School Teachers' Pension Service participated in a blood donation campaign organized by the Korean Red Cross Gwangju-Jeonnam Blood Center to respond to the decrease in blood donations during the winter season and to practice a culture of life respect and sharing in the new year.
According to the Private School Teachers' Pension Service on the 26th, this campaign was conducted through the Korean Red Cross Gwangju-Jeonnam Blood Center's blood donation bus from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. the previous day, based on prior applications from employees.
A representative of the Korean Red Cross expressed gratitude for the participation of the Private School Teachers' Pension Service in blood donation, noting that blood supply has been facing significant difficulties due to reduced outdoor activities caused by the winter cold and a sharp decline in group blood donations during school vacations.
Song Ha-jung, Chairman of the Private School Teachers' Pension Service, stated, "We hope that our small sincerity can help share the precious asset of blood."
