Unidentified Man Claims to Be 15, Under Investigation After Arrest for Special Assault Charges by Police

Baek Hyun-jin, a member of the People Power Party representing Songpa-eul, Seoul, was attacked by an assailant on the 25th, sustaining injuries and being transported to a hospital for treatment.
At around 5:18 PM that day, Baek was struck on the back of the head by an unidentified man in front of a building in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu. Baek was bleeding and was taken to Soonchunhyang Hospital.
According to the police, the man hit Baek's head with a stone, and the police arrested him on the spot on charges of special assault.
The man reportedly claimed to the police that he was 15 years old.
