On the 23rd, a post titled "Got into trouble with a difficult customer after giving free service" was uploaded on an online community, drawing attention. The author, Mr. A, who identified himself as a self-employed person, began by saying, "I went to a local Dakgalbi restaurant as a customer and witnessed a difficult customer."

Mr. A explained, "The place I visited was a small Dakgalbi restaurant, apparently run by a couple. The dining area was almost full, mostly with groups of 2 to 3 people." He continued, "The owner was handing out two cans of side drinks and paper cups to every table as a 1st anniversary service. Suddenly, at a table with a mother, father, and a daughter who looked like a first-year middle school student, the mother loudly shouted."

Mr. A said the mother demanded, "If you're going to give free service, there are three people, so you should give three cans. Is it really that hard to give one more can?" She also said, "My child will get diabetes from drinking this. Give us zero-calorie drinks instead of cider." When the owner replied, "We don't have zero-calorie drinks," the mother scolded the owner, saying, "If you're going to give free service, you should do it properly."

Mr. A added, "Earlier, the owner had given a free udon noodle serving to the family’s table, and they left holding the cider they received as a free service without drinking it." He said, "All the customers who witnessed the situation were worried about what the daughter might learn from this." He also mentioned, "Among the customers who saw the scene, some comforted the owner by saying, 'It was delicious, so please pack some for me to take home,' and many encouraged the owner by saying, 'We will come often, so don't lose energy because of customers like that and stay strong.'"

Netizens who read the story responded with comments such as, "I feel sorry for the child born to such parents. What will they learn from this?", "Service is given as a favor, but it's scary when people think it's a right," "The favor turned into insults," and "The problem is that there are many people like this these days."
