The Busan Metropolitan Autonomous Police Committee is conducting a safety rule promotion campaign in school zones together with 'Ten Percent' coffee, a local coffee brand from Busan.
This campaign is carried out to naturally promote community safety prevention alongside the everyday enjoyment of coffee.
To this end, the committee has produced cup holders featuring the safety message, "Like the leisure of a cup of coffee, drive safely today as well, always slow down to under 30 km/h in school zones," and distributed them to four Ten Percent coffee franchise stores.
Ten Percent coffee franchise stores provide the cup holders received from the committee along with coffee to customers purchasing coffee.
Starting February 15, cup holders with the safety message will be available at four Ten Percent coffee franchise stores (City Hall branch, Hwamyung Sujeong branch, Geumsa branch, Jure Station branch).
Lee Seongsil, CEO of Ten Percent, said, “We are honored to carry out social contribution activities such as safety campaigns,” and added, “We will continue to actively engage in social contribution activities.”
Jung Yonghwan, Chairperson of the Busan Autonomous Police Committee, stated, “We hope this campaign will create a safe environment for children, who are vulnerable road users, and serve as an opportunity to improve public traffic awareness,” and added, “We will continue to steadily promote safety cooperation projects with local businesses to become an autonomous police force close to residents’ daily lives.”
