'Dalbit Children's Hospital' is a hospital that provides medical services through outpatient care for pediatric patients with mild symptoms during weekday nighttime hours and holidays (Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays) in addition to the emergency room.

The goal is to increase medical accessibility for mild patients through local medical institutions and reduce inconvenience and cost burdens caused by emergency room use.

This expansion of Dalbit Children's Hospitals in the western Busan area is the result of various administrative and financial support measures promoted by the city last year, including the enactment of the nation's first Dalbit Children's Hospital support ordinance and the preparation of operational expense support plans to strengthen medical functions.

The city currently designates and operates four Dalbit Children's Hospitals (Dongnae, Yeonje, Gijang, Yeongdo), and from February 1, it plans to operate a total of six hospitals including the two newly expanded ones (Gangseo and Saha).

The currently operating Dalbit Children's Hospitals are ▲ Jeonggwan Woori Children's Hospital in Gijang-gun ▲ Aisarang Hospital in Yeonje-gu ▲ 99 Seoul Pediatrics and Adolescents Clinic in Dongnae-gu ▲ Aiseoul Hospital in Yeongdo-gu.

The two newly expanded Dalbit Children's Hospitals will provide outpatient care until 7 p.m. on weekday nights as before, but will extend hours on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays to provide care from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The city selected the two Dalbit Children's Hospitals at the end of last year, and the two hospitals will have January as a preparation period for full operation and will start medical services without any issues from February 1.
