An aircraft heading from India to Russia crashed in the northeastern region of Afghanistan on the 21st (local time).

According to major foreign media such as AFP and Sputnik News, the police of Badakhshan Province in northeastern Afghanistan announced that they received reports from local residents about the plane crash during the night and are currently sending an investigation team to confirm the situation.

It is estimated that six people were on board the aircraft.

Russian aviation authorities stated that the Falcon aircraft disappeared from radar over Afghanistan the previous evening, and that six people were on board, including four crew members and two passengers.

They explained that the aircraft was a medical charter flight departing from Gaya, Bihar State, India, heading to Zhukovsky, Russia, and that they are in contact with Afghan and neighboring Tajikistan authorities.

Some media outlets reported that the crashed plane was an Indian passenger aircraft. However, Indian aviation authorities announced that the aircraft does not belong to any Indian airline.
