HUG Opens Incheon and Gyeonggi Management Centers to "Enhance Customer Convenience"

The Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG) announced on the 19th that it will open the Incheon Management Center and the Gyeonggi Management Center on the 22nd to enhance customer convenience and accessibility.

The HUG management centers handle guarantee fulfillment and bond management tasks. They are responsible for returning the jeonse deposit to customers who have not been reimbursed by landlords.

The Incheon Management Center will be located in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, and the Gyeonggi Management Center will be established in Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi.

With the opening of the new centers, HUG plans to adjust the existing jurisdiction areas. This measure aims to distribute workloads so that customers in each region can receive consultations more quickly. For example, the Seoul East Management Center previously managed Gangnam-gu and Seocho-gu in Seoul, as well as Gwacheon, Gwangmyeong, Gunpo, Gimpo, Bucheon, and Suwon in Gyeonggi. Going forward, it will exclude the Gyeonggi areas and additionally manage Gwangjin, Seongdong, Yongsan, Gangdong, Songpa, Gwanak, Dongjak, Guro, and Geumcheon districts in Seoul.

Yoo Byung-tae, president of HUG, said, "With the opening of these two new management centers, customers' time burdens will be reduced and convenience will be increased. We will strive to support residential stability for ordinary citizens and government policies through prompt guarantee fulfillment."
