On the 19th, the KOSPI index opened at 2,468.43, up 28.39 points (1.16%) from the previous trading day, as dealers were working at the Hana Bank headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul. On the same day, the won-dollar exchange rate started trading at 1,338 won, down 1.7 won from the previous trading day.
