Dreaming Youth Space ... 2024 Changwon-style Youth Dream Center Support Project

Recruitment until February 2 and Selection of 3 Locations

Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam is recruiting candidates for the 2024 Changwon-style Youth Dream Center Support Project until February 2.

According to the city, this project supports rent, operating expenses, and youth activity project costs for spaces operated by local youth or youth organizations.

The project aims to support youth activity spaces so that local youth can engage in various community activities and enjoy diverse programs planned by youth, such as exhibitions and performances.

The project targets individuals and organizations operating youth spaces of at least 50㎡ in Changwon, aged 19 to 39, who have an address in Changwon.

The city plans to comprehensively evaluate the youth spaces based on ▲project suitability ▲feasibility ▲operational capability through on-site inspections and proposal reviews by an evaluation committee.

After selecting three final locations, full-scale operations are planned to begin in March.

The selected spaces must be freely open for youth to use and cannot engage in profit-making activities such as space rental.

To prevent duplicate support for the same operator and to support diverse youth spaces, participation is restricted for those who have received support for three consecutive years from 2021 to 2023.

Choi Young-sook, the Youth Policy Officer, said, “We hope that through the network among users at the Changwon-style Youth Dream Center, youth can fully demonstrate their talents and potential,” adding, “We will continue to strive to revitalize youth spaces to guarantee youth activities and encourage challenges.”
