Spokesperson Peskov said, "Minister Lavrov and Foreign Minister Choe will inform the president about the outcomes of the talks and how the agreements made at last year's summit between the two countries' leaders held in Russia's Far East are progressing."

There is also a possibility that President Putin's visit schedule to North Korea will be coordinated during this meeting. In a briefing the previous day, Peskov mentioned that President Putin hopes to visit North Korea soon, and that specific dates will be arranged through diplomatic channels. Foreign Minister Choe arrived in Moscow on the 14th at the invitation of Minister Lavrov and will carry out an official visit to Russia for three days from the 15th to the 17th.
