The Joint Chiefs of Staff announced on the 14th that North Korea fired an unidentified ballistic missile into the East Sea.

Military authorities are currently analyzing the missile's flight distance, altitude, speed, and other factors.

This is the first time North Korea has launched a ballistic missile this year. It has been 27 days since the intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) launch on the 18th of last month.

North Korea conducted missile provocations on two consecutive days, the 17th and 18th of last month.
