From late dawn to morning, light raindrops less than 0.1mm or snow less than 0.1cm may fall in the Seoul metropolitan area and Gangwon Yeongseo.
During the day, rain or snow will expand to southern Gyeonggi, other inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, and the Chungcheong region, and by late afternoon to the Jeolla and inland Gyeongsang regions, but most precipitation is expected to stop by evening.
Expected precipitation amounts are around 5mm in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, the five western islands, inland and mountainous Gangwon, and the Chungcheong region. Less than 5mm of rain is expected in the Jeolla region, Gyeongsang region, and Jeju Island.
The morning low temperature is forecast to be between -7 and 3 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 3 and 14 degrees Celsius.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'moderate' across all regions, but in the afternoon, Seoul, Incheon, southern Gyeonggi, and Chungnam are expected to reach 'unhealthy' levels.
Sea waves will be 1.0 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea coastal waters. In the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 1.0 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the South Sea. Very strong winds and high waves are expected in the central East Sea offshore waters, so vessels engaged in navigation or fishing should exercise caution.
