On the 13th, the Cyber Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced that they summoned Hwang the previous day and questioned him for about 10 hours. This was two months after he was first investigated as a suspect in November last year.

Hwang reiterated his previous claim that the filming was not illegal because the female victim was aware of the recording and did not express any refusal, and he reportedly submitted related materials.

Earlier, the police summoned Hwang as a suspect on November 18 last year for investigation. They then issued a first summons with a deadline of December 27, but when Hwang’s side stated that attendance was difficult due to team circumstances, a second summons was issued.

On the other hand, the female victim’s side maintains that the filming was not consensual. In November last year, when Hwang denied the allegations and partially disclosed the victim’s identity, a controversy over secondary victimization arose.
