[CES 2024] LG Wireless Transparent OLED TV Selected as CES Best Product

LG Electronics' world-first wireless transparent OLED TV, 'LG SIGNATURE OLED T,' was selected as the best product at 'CES 2024,' the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA.

According to LG Electronics on the 12th, the LG SIGNATURE OLED T was the only TV product to receive the highest award from 'Engadget,' the official award partner of CES 2024, on the 11th local time.

The LG SIGNATURE OLED T features a transparent screen that allows viewers to see through the product, attracting attention from visitors during the CES event. Engadget commented, "OLED TVs are great, but the transparent OLED TV is truly an amazing product," adding, "Unlike other transparent display products, this is the first product available for customers to purchase."

It also received high praise from major overseas media outlets. Forbes in the U.S. stated, "LG Electronics made a big impact at CES 2024 with its transparent OLED TV," and highly praised it by saying, "(Offering both transparent mode and black screen mode) feels like a technology only LG Electronics can achieve." Tom's Guide also praised, "The LG SIGNATURE OLED T is the pinnacle of LG Electronics' achievements over the past few years."

Previously, in November last year, the LG SIGNATURE OLED T received five awards in four categories, including the highest honor of the 'CES Innovation Awards' presented by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) for CES exhibits.

Other LG Electronics products also received favorable reviews. Regarding the LG SIGNATURE washer-dryer, the U.S. media 'Reviewed.com' evaluated it as "the best product seen at CES 2024." Tom's Guide selected this product as the 'Best Appliance,' stating, "It shortens laundry time by incorporating LG Electronics' inverter heat pump technology and artificial intelligence (AI) that analyzes the type and dirtiness of laundry." Additionally, LG Electronics' AI robot 'Smart Home AI Agent' was praised by the U.S. media 'Mashable' as "a science fiction novel featuring robot housekeepers has become reality."

As of this day, LG Electronics has received a total of 90 awards, including 12 CES Innovation Awards for the 2024 LG OLED TVs including the LG SIGNATURE OLED T, the Engadget top award, and awards selected by major media outlets. Expanding the scope to all LG Electronics products, it has won a total of 130 awards, including a record 33 CES Innovation Awards.
