Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, has recently been continuously promoting guidance and crackdown on environmental pollution activities within the jurisdiction, as well as proper disposal of household (farming) waste. However, complaints about waste incineration, which mainly occurs during the autumn harvest season and winter, have frequently arisen, prompting plans to strengthen intensive crackdowns on illegal waste incineration (dumping).
