Haman-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 11th that it will begin full-scale operation of four electric vehicle fast chargers in the Haman-gun Office Plaza parking lot starting this month.
The fast chargers, installed through an agreement with the Ministry of Environment to improve air quality by expanding the distribution of electric vehicles, can charge a vehicle in about 30 minutes. Payment can be made using the Ministry of Environment membership card and bank credit cards. The charging cost is approximately 3,472 KRW per kWh.

원본보기 아이콘Additionally, in March last year, the county signed an agreement with EasyCharger to expand and distribute electric vehicle charging infrastructure, installing seven 100 kW bidirectional fast chargers and nineteen 7 kW stand-type slow chargers at 14 locations, including Chilwon Ogok District public parking lot, in December last year. Accordingly, a total of 26 chargers will be additionally operated at 14 locations during the first half of this year.
The county plans to expand electric vehicle charging infrastructure in public parking lots with high usage to minimize inconvenience for electric vehicle users.
A county official stated, “With the establishment of this electric vehicle charging station, we expect to enhance convenience for residents using electric vehicles, improve air quality, and greatly contribute to the expanded distribution of electric vehicles.”
