Line Construction and Hoban Construction announced on the 11th that they will begin full-scale sales of 'We Park Ilgok Park,' which will be built in Ilgok Park, Gwangju Metropolitan City.
We Park Ilgok Park consists of 1,004 households in total, ranging from 3 basement floors to 28 above-ground floors. Among them, 903 households excluding rental units will be sold to the general public, including 675 units with an exclusive area of 84㎡ and 228 units with 138㎡.
Ilgok Park, a private park special project site, will be developed as a mega park of about 1 million square meters. According to related regulations, apartment construction is allowed up to 30% of the entire park area, but Gwangju City permitted only about 9%, the lowest nationwide. The park’s abundant greenery and walking trails are directly connected to the complex.
The school district is densely populated with 13 schools within a 1 km walking radius, including Ildong Elementary and Middle Schools, Ilgok Elementary and Middle Schools, Ilsin Elementary and Middle Schools, and International High School. Since the complex is adjacent to the schools, no harmful or unpleasant facilities can be built, allowing children to commute safely.
Also, the Gwangju Line 2 Ilgok Station (tentative name) is planned to be about 300 meters away, and road networks connecting inside and outside Gwangju such as Seogwangju IC, Yangil-ro, Bitgoeul-daero, and Uchi-ro are well established. The Honam Expressway Dongnim IC can also be accessed within 10 minutes. The Ilgok district is a living area densely packed with various commercial facilities such as large marts, department stores, government offices, banks, hospitals, and cinemas. Additionally, many old apartments over 20 years old are nearby, adding to the rarity of new apartments.
A sales official of We Park Ilgok Park said, "We pride ourselves on capturing all the current consumer trends such as park location, walkable school districts, abundant living infrastructure, and transportation networks." He added, "In particular, the Ilgok district has many apartments that are over 20 years old, with the newest apartments built around 2001, so there is a high demand for new mid-to-large sized apartments."
