Inzisof, Research and Development Organizational Restructuring... Strengthening AI-Based Solution Business

Cognisoft, an AI (artificial intelligence)-based image data specialist company, announced on the 10th that it has carried out an organizational restructuring to strategically operate its research and development organization by business division.

Cognisoft plans to reorganize its R&D organization, which was previously operated in a team structure, into business units aligned with its three main business areas to enhance expertise and work efficiency. The newly established divisions are ▲ AI Division ▲ QSVC (Q-Service) Division ▲ Image Division.

The AI Division is responsible for AI OCR (image recognition solution) and AI OSP (image recognition platform) businesses utilizing machine learning technology. By leveraging advanced AI technology, it can accurately recognize, classify, and store images, securing a leading position in the market, especially in the financial sector. Currently, the AI OSP service has been supplied to Woori Bank, and it is expected to secure multiple additional clients within the year.

The QSVC Division manages the cloud-based electronic document service ‘Q-Service.’ Q-Service enables banks, securities firms, and insurance companies to handle product explanations and subscriptions electronically, allowing for the implementation of a complete digital counter service.

In particular, alongside the organizational restructuring, the company recruited Vice President Kyungnam Kang and appointed him as head of the QSVC Division. He is an IT sales expert with over 30 years of experience at companies such as Asiana IDT and is expected to contribute to the growth of the division.

The Image Division is responsible for BPR (image processing system), which converts paper documents into digital information. It can dramatically improve the work processes of financial institutions, including banks, reducing costs while enhancing quality and speed.

A Cognisoft representative stated, “With this organizational restructuring, we will strengthen the expertise of each business division aligned with our core businesses and enable efficient operation. In particular, we will lead the market and secure growth engines by reinforcing AI and cloud-based businesses.”
