The mortgage loan (hereafter referred to as mortgage loan) transfer service allows customers holding apartment-backed mortgage loans to switch their mortgage loan products to Gyeongnam Bank without visiting their existing bank.

BNK Gyeongnam Bank has established a loan transfer system and enabled customers to conveniently apply either by visiting a branch or through the mobile app.

Additionally, to facilitate easy refinancing of mortgage loans at lower interest rates, a special interest rate discount of 0.4%p will be provided.

To apply via the mobile app, customers can access the ‘Product Management’ menu in the BNK Gyeongnam Bank mobile banking app and select ‘Loan Transfer Application’.

For more details about the mortgage loan transfer service, customers can contact any BNK Gyeongnam Bank branch or the customer center.

Sangho Park, Executive Director of the Credit Sales Headquarters, stated, “With the implementation of this service, customers will be able to refinance their mortgage loans at lower interest rates more easily, reducing their financial burden. We hope many customers will take advantage of the easy mortgage loan transfer and special interest rate discount benefits at BNK Gyeongnam Bank.”

Meanwhile, since October last year, BNK Gyeongnam Bank has been providing a special interest rate discount of 0.4%p up to a total limit of 300 billion KRW to customers who switched from high-interest variable-rate mortgage loans to fixed-rate mortgage loans to alleviate their interest burden.

Furthermore, to support the residential stability of local residents, the bank plans to implement the ‘Jeonse Deposit Loan Transfer Service’ by the end of January.
