According to the business community on the 8th, Chung Eui-sun, Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group, already arrived in Los Angeles (LA), USA, on the 3rd using a private jet and has started his local schedule. Near LA, there are Hyundai Motor and Kia's U.S. subsidiaries as well as a design center. After inspecting the business sites, Chairman Chung is expected to arrive in Las Vegas in time for the CES opening schedule.

Chairman Chung, visiting CES for the first time in two years, is reported to review mobility technology trends, one of the main themes of the event. At this year's Hyundai Motor Group New Year's meeting, he personally mentioned that he would focus on artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and the medical field. Hyundai Motor Group has set up an exhibition booth the size of a soccer field at this event and plans to have a record number of 1,000 employees attend, showing high interest.
SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won also arrived locally over the weekend and began activities. SK's private jet arrived in Reno, the capital of Nevada, USA, on the 5th, leading to speculation that Chairman Chey had started local activities early, but it was reported that the SK Group executive team used the jet.
Jung Ki-sun, Vice Chairman of HD Hyundai and the only Korean keynote speaker at CES, is also scheduled to arrive in Las Vegas in time for the opening day. Vice Chairman Jung has attended CES for three consecutive years, but this is his first time delivering a keynote speech. In this speech, he will personally explain the 'Xite Transformation,' a vision for terrestrial innovation and infrastructure construction aimed at human sustainability.

Third-generation heirs receiving management training from major business groups will also appear at the event. From Lotte Group, Shin Yu-yeol, Executive Director of Future Growth at Lotte Holdings and eldest son of Lotte Group Chairman Shin Dong-bin, will attend. Executive Director Shin is in charge of an organization dedicated to discovering new businesses to secure future growth engines for Lotte Group. He is expected to focus on booths related to bio and healthcare, areas recently of interest to Lotte.
From Hanwha Group, Kim Dong-sun, Vice President of Hanwha Robotics and the third son of Chairman Kim Seung-yeon, will attend. Vice President Kim was recently appointed as Vice President of Hanwha, the group's holding company, and concurrently serves as Head of Strategy at Hanwha Galleria, a distribution affiliate, and Head of Strategy at Hanwha Hotels & Resorts. Considering his key roles, he is expected to focus on robotics, distribution, and food tech sectors during his visit.
Top executives (CEOs) of major groups will take the stage to directly introduce corporate strategies, technologies, and visions. Han Jong-hee, Vice Chairman and Head of Samsung Electronics' Device Experience (DX) Division, will deliver a keynote speech at the press conference, presenting Samsung Electronics' AI vision on the global stage. LG Electronics' CEO Cho Ju-wan will also speak, introducing new customer experiences based on AI and innovative technologies. From Hyundai Motor Group, CEO Jang Jae-hoon will explain Hyundai Motor's hydrogen energy vision, and CEO Song Chang-hyun will present Hyundai Motor Group's software-defined vehicle (SDV) transformation vision incorporating AI.
