A 'sweet part-time job' where you can earn 3 million won just by sleeping in bed has emerged, attracting attention. Mattress brand Simmons announced on the 4th that, to promote the importance of sleep health for the new year, it is recruiting for the 'Danggeun Alba X Simmons Winter Sleep Alba,' a part-time job where participants can comfortably take a good night's sleep on a Simmons bed and receive payment, in collaboration with the local community platform 'Danggeun.'

This part-time job is a unique experience of hibernating at the Terrace Store within Simmons Terrace, a complex cultural space of Simmons beds located in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do.

Part-timers will be diagnosed for their sleep preferences by Simmons sleep experts and then select a mattress that suits them. After equipping various items for winter sleep, they sleep for one hour and receive 3 million won as part-time pay.

The recruitment period is until the 23rd of this month. Applicants can register their part-time job profile and submit an application form through the job posting on the Danggeun Alba page. One person will be selected, and individual notifications will be sent on the 26th. Sharing this event with friends or acquaintances increases the chances of being selected. A Simmons representative stated, “Sharing the job recruitment post widely with acquaintances is one of the important selection criteria.”

The final selected part-timer will perform the assigned tasks at the Terrace Store on the 3rd of next month. Simmons also prepared an event where applicants can win prizes worth about 2 million won through a lottery.

Simmons said, “There is a joke about wanting to earn money just by sleeping, but to actually promote the importance of sleep health for the new year, we prepared a unique and enjoyable event where you can receive part-time pay just by getting a good night's sleep. Experiencing comfortable sleep on a Simmons bed while earning 3 million won per hour as pocket money will truly be a 'two birds with one stone' opportunity.”
