Model Walks Runway with 'Gunshot Wound' on Chest... The Saddest Fashion Show in the World

Fashion Show Reenacting War Atrocities
"We Hope Victims Are Remembered"

A unique fashion show was held in Tel Aviv, Israel, amid the conflict with the Palestinian armed group Hamas. Survivors of the Hamas attack took the stage as models to directly reenact the horrors of war.

According to the British daily Daily Mail, on the evening of the 10th (local time), 12 models walked the runway at a fashion show held in Old Jaffa, Tel Aviv, Israel.

They are survivors and witnesses of the massacre at the Nova Festival by Hamas militants on October 7, as well as people who lost their beloved family members. The expressions of those on stage were somber, and some models had makeup that made it look like they were bleeding from gunshot wounds.

Among the models were Jessica Elter, the fianc?e of Ben Simoni who was shot dead while trying to help about ten people escape, and Vlada Patapov, famous for a photo of her fleeing Hamas militants at the Nova festival site wearing a red scarf.

Jessica Elter appeared on stage wearing a white dress, with the appearance of a bullet lodged in her chest. The front of the dress was adorned with crossed knife-shaped decorations. She said, "I miss him every day, every moment," adding, "All I can do besides missing him is to make sure Ben is remembered and to share his story with the world."

Yovel Trabelsi, who lost her husband just one month after their wedding, also took the stage. Trabelsi had a gag in her mouth, and the wedding dress she wore had several hands attached to it. Gunshot wound marks were also depicted on her forehead.

Trabelsi’s husband, Mor Trabelsi, was shot in the head and died in front of his wife. Trabelsi survived by smearing her husband's blood on her body and pretending to be dead for over six hours. She expressed her hope that "everyone will remember my husband's story."

There was also a model wearing a blood-stained bodysuit, intended to show the suffering of numerous Israeli women who were raped by Hamas militants. Each outfit showcased at the fashion show was reportedly created by designers representing Israel.

Meanwhile, Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel on October 7, abducting about 240 people, including Israelis, as hostages. Among them, only about 100, including children and women, were released through hostage negotiations.

Thousands of hostage families and Israeli citizens gathered at Hostage Square in Tel Aviv on the 9th, and some hostage families demanded to be allowed to participate directly in the hostage negotiations.
