Ulsan Nambu Fire Station (Chief Kim Gyu-ju) is working hard even during the Chuseok holiday to achieve the goal of zero casualties in water-related accidents.
The Nambu Rescue Team will conduct water rescue training and equipment operation proficiency training at the Nambu Fire Station on the 29th.
This training was prepared to enable rapid rescue activities in case of water accidents occurring in places such as the Taehwa River. The focus was on maintaining equipment in optimal condition and mastering equipment usage skills to enhance the professionalism of the rescue team members.
The main training contents include ▲study of cases related to water accidents ▲education on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) at disaster sites ▲mastery of outboard motor operation ▲inspection of search equipment operational status.
Park Jong-yeol, head of the Nambu Rescue Team, said, “Due to the nature of water accidents, rapid and safe rescue activities are crucial,” and added, “We will continue to protect both the safety of citizens and the safety of rescue team members through systematic education and training.”
