Gyeonggi Province conducted a joint inspection with the 'Nodong Anjeon Jikimi' (Labor Safety Keepers) to check safety at industrial sites.

On the 26th, Gyeonggi Province announced that on the 25th, it carried out a joint inspection with the Nodong Anjeon Jikimi at a manufacturing company in Gimpo City to prevent industrial accidents and promote a safety culture.

Earlier, in 2020, Gyeonggi Province selected Nodong Anjeon Jikimi as specialized personnel responsible for safety inspections at industrial sites across all 31 cities and counties in the province to realize a "fair world where labor is respected."

On this day, they visited Woonchang Jin Gong, a small and medium-sized manufacturing company located in Yangchon-eup, Gimpo City, and operated and inspected protective devices and emergency stop devices on major hazardous machinery and equipment such as cranes and conveyors to prevent entrapment accidents, which have recently frequently occurred in manufacturing sites. They also carefully examined hazardous factors within the workplace and corrected any deficiencies.

Oh Hu-seok, Deputy Governor for Administration of Gyeonggi Province, said, "This inspection serves to raise awareness about safety and spread a safety culture in industrial sites," adding, "We will continue to actively work towards creating safe industrial sites free from industrial accidents."
