"My Career Path is Drawn by Me"... Dong-A University Career Development Center, 'Career Portfolio Competition'

Grand Prize: Seok Junhyun, Excellence Awards: Lim Jisoo and Hong Sejin

The Career Development Center at Dong-A University held a project competition to comprehensively manage strategic goals related to career paths.


The Career Development Center of the Institute for Educational Innovation at Dong-A University (Director Jo Gyu-pan) announced on the 21st that it held the '2023 Academic Year Career Portfolio Competition Awards Ceremony.'


The Career Portfolio Competition was held to help students create well-structured plans regarding their career paths and directions, based on a production manual that includes self-diagnosis, self-design, and future planning.


The awards ceremony, recently held at the College of Humanities on Dong-A University's Seunghak Campus, was attended by Director Jo Gyu-pan, Professor Bang Hee-won, and the awardees.

The grand prize of this competition was awarded to Seok Jun-hyun (4th year, Department of Industrial Management Engineering). The excellence awards went to Lim Ji-su (4th year, Department of Global Business) and Hong Se-jin (3rd year, Department of Chemical Engineering), while the merit awards were given to Park Jung-bin (3rd year, Department of Business Administration), Kim Ga-eun (1st year, Department of Business Administration), and Park Seo-jin (3rd year, Department of Biomedical Engineering).


Seok Jun-hyun, the grand prize winner, said, "I had the opportunity to deeply reconsider my goals and vision and to realize them in reality," adding, "I will challenge myself with bigger projects based on this award experience."


Director Jo said, "This competition provided an opportunity to understand and design career preparation by academic year based on the career roadmap (EDUMAP)."


He encouraged, "I hope students will not only participate in the competition but also continue to strive for concrete and diverse career development so that they can achieve the dreams they desire."
