LED and Solar Lights Installed in Cheonwang, Gocheok, and Gaewoongsan Neighborhood Parks to Enhance Nighttime Environment

Guro-gu (Mayor Moon Heon-il) announced on the 14th that it has improved the nighttime environment of parks to provide safe resting spaces and various attractions.

The parks improved this time are a total of four: Jatjeol Park, and the Cheonwang, Gocheok, and Gaewoongsan neighborhood parks.

In Jatjeol Park, considering the unique characteristics of each space, logo lights featuring constellations and hydrangeas were installed throughout, and firefly lights were placed around the ecological wetland and footpath areas to create a subtle atmosphere.

Along with the recently created waterfront area and picnic garden, Jatjeol Park is expected to emerge as a beautiful themed park in the forest.

At Cheonwang Neighborhood Park, nighttime LED lights powered by solar energy were installed, and old lights in Gocheok and Gaewoongsan Neighborhood Parks were replaced with LED lights to improve the walking environment for residents using the parks at night.

A Guro-gu official stated, “We will continue to carry out park improvement projects every year as these parks serve as resting places for residents,” adding, “We will strive to create safe and beautiful park environments for the residents.”
