Seongdong-gu Holds 2024 College Admission Early Application Strategy Briefing Session

Seongdong-gu (Mayor Jung Won-oh) will hold the '2024 College Admission Early Application Strategy Briefing' for examinees and parents at 2 PM on the 11th in the 3rd floor auditorium of Seongdong-gu Office.

This briefing will feature Yoon Yoon-gu, a leading EBS entrance exam instructor and author of The Art of Entrance Exams as Much as You Know, delivering an in-depth lecture under the theme 'Entrance Exam Curating for 12th Grade Early Application Strategies.' In the first part of the lecture, he will explain overall entrance exam information and preparation methods for each admission type for 90 minutes, followed by providing key strategies for preparing for the comprehensive student record screening.

The second part, titled ‘Entrance Exam Briefing with Admissions Officers,’ will include participation from five major universities in the metropolitan area?Dongguk University, University of Seoul, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Hanyang University, and Hongik University?where admissions officers will share their secret strategies for entrance exams.

Residents wishing to attend the briefing can apply in advance on a first-come, first-served basis through the Seongdong Entrance Exam Counseling Center website, and on-site registration on the day of the event is also available.

The center operates year-round one-on-one customized consulting and provides practical mock interviews and consulting programs necessary for early application in accordance with the admission schedule.

Mayor Jung Won-oh stated, "I hope that through this briefing, students will select the admission type that suits them and gain admission to their target universities," adding, "We will continue to do our best to provide high-quality entrance exam information to prepare for the changing admission environment."
