From August 23 to November 15, the city will operate the "5th Busan Franchise Academy" at the Korea Franchise Industry Association Busan·Ulsan·Gyeongnam Branch training center, targeting franchise companies based in Busan and prospective entrepreneurs.

The Busan Franchise Academy is a representative growth education program for small business owners in the Busan area, designed to revitalize the local franchise industry and stimulate the regional economy through job creation.

Since launching the 1st academy in the second half of 2021, it has been held once each in the first and second halves of the year, with the number of applicants increasing annually due to high demand for franchise education in the Busan region.

The curriculum includes growth strategies for small business owners, franchise commercialization strategies, franchise system establishment strategies, and marketing know-how.

The education is not limited to theory but focuses on practical secrets that convey vivid, real-world know-how and strengthen the management capabilities of local small business owners.

To this end, the teaching staff of the Busan Franchise Academy consists of franchise consulting experts, CEOs, and executives of growth companies.

The target participants are ▲local small business owners and small entrepreneurs seeking business growth ▲innovative small business owners interested in franchise business ▲CEOs and executives of franchises hoping for business growth ▲employees of distribution and manufacturing companies interested in entering the franchise industry.

The recruitment period for trainees is from August 4 to 18, and 24 people will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis through the Korea Franchise Industry Association Busan·Ulsan·Gyeongnam Branch website.

For more details, please check the announcements on the branch website or contact them by phone.

Shin Changho, Director of the Digital Economy Innovation Office of Busan City, said, “We will operate the Busan Franchise Academy thoroughly to strengthen the franchise industry capabilities in the Busan area and nurture franchise professionals. Our city will continue to actively promote various projects to foster the local franchise industry.”
