On the 2nd, controversy is growing as the attitude and past actions of a man in his 20s who drove a Rolls-Royce and crashed onto the sidewalk near Apgujeong Station in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, seriously injuring a woman in her 20s have come to light.
According to the police, Shin (28) was arrested on charges of violating the Special Act on Traffic Accident Handling after crashing onto the sidewalk and injuring a woman in her 20s who was walking, but was released about 17 hours later.
Subsequently, on the 5th, several online communities claimed that Shin appeared on SBS’s pilot program 'Song For You' in 2013.
'Song For You' was a program aimed at rehabilitating troubled youth through music under the guidance of singers Lee Seung-chul and Uhm Jung-hwa. Netizens unanimously agreed that the Shin who appeared on the program was the same person involved in the recent Rolls-Royce incident.
At that time, Shin confessed to school violence, saying things like "I was expelled from school twice," "I buried other students," and "I bullied many friends when I was young."
Then, YouTuber 'Caracula' revealed on the 5th, "The perpetrator with full-body tattoos who ran over a woman in her 20s with a 600 million won Rolls-Royce and caused a disturbance to the responding police officers is Shin WooX, born in 1995," disclosing his identity.
Caracula further claimed, "Shin organized a new criminal group called 'MT5' in Gangnam, created a virtual currency overseas exchange, and enabled drug transactions via Telegram to use it as a payment method."
He added, "It is estimated that they made huge profits through referral (transaction fee) income by creating overseas futures trading rooms."
Caracula also wrote, "Shin and his gang spent tens of millions of won weekly at clubs and paid hundreds of millions of won to large law firms for lawyer fees, wielding tremendous power using 'money' as a weapon."
At the same time, he released a list of key members of the new criminal organization 'MT5.'
Earlier, the YouTube channel ‘Caracula Detective Agency’ community also released gruesome photos of the scene.
It was reported that Shin, who has tattoos all over his body including his legs and arms, remained calm even after hitting a person and showed threatening behavior toward the police.
The photos released by Caracula showed Shin opening the driver’s door and the victim trapped under the vehicle.
Another photo showed what appeared to be the victim’s hair caught in the vehicle’s wheels.
Caracula stated, “The victim, who came to Seoul for her studies, was walking to take the subway after finishing her part-time job when the tattooed perpetrator acted erratically and threateningly toward the responding police officers.”
The victim suffered multiple fractures in both legs and injuries to her head and abdomen, underwent surgery at the hospital, and Shin tested positive for ketamine in a preliminary drug test and is under investigation.

He added, "The perpetrator calmly got out of the car but staggered around without checking on the severely injured victim and only made phone calls until the police and paramedics arrived."
Caracula expressed sorrow, saying, "The female victim in her 20s is currently in the intensive care unit fighting for her life. The attending physician told the family that her survival is uncertain but that they will do their best."
